Rhema Chapel International Churches (RCIC) is the Church arm of the Ever Increasing Word Ministries, an organ set up by God for the purpose of ministering to the Spirit, Soul and Body of believers. RCIC was formally inaugurated on November 29th, 1987, at the Olufunmilayo Conference Hall, Circular Hotels, Ilorin. From the Circular Hotels, the Chapel moved to Katola Day Care center along the University Road, Tanke, Ilorin. In 1989, it moved again across the road to its present site.
Over the years, RCIC has metamorphosed into what it is today. It has its peculiarities, in of its mode of worship. When God revealed the vision of Rhema Chapel, He spoke to Reverend George Adegboye, that the Church, will not just be involved in gathering people together or going through some motions on Sunday. Among many other things the Lord said is that Rhema Chapel shall have certain peculiarities.
Our outreaches are to all levels of the society. We reach out to youths, men, women, children, the poor and the rich. The chapel is like a “combined harvester”. Ten years after the first Chapel was inaugurated, God has caused a bountiful multiplication in the area of Church planting. From the Rhema Chapels which came out of the first stage of Church planting efforts of the ministry, other categories of churches have emerged – Rhema Chapel World Outreach Churches, Rhema Chapel Satellite Churches and Rhema Chapel Campus Churches.
Rhema Chapel International Churches has over forty (40) branches nationwide. Thus far and much more, the Lord has helped us and will still help us. The word of God is forever unchanged, and according to his divine counsel towards us, our God ordained vision has stood as an unshaken pillar on the sands of time. We welcome you to join us today.

- The fire on the top of the logo signifies the ever present ministry of the Holy Spirit.
- The Line that characterized the lettering of RHEMA reminds us of the line upon line and precepts upon precepts by which the revelation of God’s word come to us as we get empowered to change the world.
WHAT OUR COLOURS REPRESENTS
- Red: Signifies the blood of Jesus the fountain of forgiveness without which there is no remission of sins.
- Royal blue: stands for the covenant we have with God, to fulfill our ministry.
- White: connotes righteousness, which is our desire as we stand continually before Him in our lives and in all we do.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
- We believe that all scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is the infallible rule and standard of faith and conduct (2 Tim. 3:16; Ps. 119:128).
- We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 5:17).
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY by which we can get to the father (Jhn. 14:6)
- We believe in the imminent PERSONAL return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe in intensive and extensive world evangelism and missionary work in accordance with the Great Commission with signs and wonders following (Mark 16:15-20).
- We believe in divine healing in the sense of it being part of the atonement through faith (Matt. 18:16-17; Isa. 53:4; I Pet. 2:14; Ps. 103:3).
Rev. George Olawale Adegboye received a vision that has been a lamp unto his path. Hear it all from him, God called me December, 1981. There was a programme that was being held at the Kwara State Polytechnic. It was a programme on the gifts of the Spirit. I attended because there was a deep impression on my heart that I should be in that meeting. As I sat in the service and this man was ministering the word of God, all of a sudden in the middle of his sermon, I heard the Voice of God. He said: “I have called thee, I have chosen thee, I have ordained and anointed thee, to take my words to the nations, emphasizing its integrity”.
Initially when those words came, I thought it was the man who was ministering that was prophesying. Before then, I had seen people preach and they prophesy and continue to preach. Also this man was speaking on the gifts of the spirit by which God equips us.
Rev. George Olawale Adegboye is an Apostle of the New Testament, with a commission to “take the word to the nations of the world,” emphasizing its integrity. He is the President of the Ever Increasing Word Ministries, also known as Rhema Chapel International Churches, with many branches worldwide. He is also the President of the Word of Victory Bible Training Institute and the Young Ministers Teaching School, which are the training arm of the ministry.
Rev. George Olawale Adegboye teaches the word extensively, with a simplistic practical prophetic insight. He is in great demand all over the world, across denominations and independent churches for conventions, seminars and outreaches. He always brings a message of challenge, inspiration and motivation. To him, teaching and preaching the Word is an all-consuming passion. He has numerous admirers worldwide, all due to the profusion and accuracy with which he quotes relevant portions of Scriptures to support his statements and claims, which makes people to fondly refer to him as the “Walking Concordance” and at times as the “Walking Bible”;
He has been instrumental in helping to birth, father, mentor, train, adjust, repair, place, encourage, motivate and send forth several fit and capable ministers into the harvest fields of the Lord on earth. He has been used to impart and transform many young men and women into flaming fire brand ministers of the Gospel in several nations of the world. His ministry resource materials are always in great demand. He is committed to making the word of God available all over the world through all available channels. He hosts the weekly Word and You telecast program on many television stations in Nigeria. Rev. George Olawale Adegboye holds a Masters Degree in Sociology. He is married to Oloruntoyin Modupeola and they are blessed with three children; Faith, Faithful and Faithfulness.
